Understanding Insurance
The hall insurance **does not** cover the use of bouncy castles. It is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure Public Liability Insurance (PLI) is in place.
Option A: The Supplier
The hire company provides insurance. Note: This often only applies if the supplier stays to supervise the castle themselves.
Option B: The Hirer
The person hiring the hall purchases one-off event insurance if they (or other guests) are supervising the equipment.
Proper Supervision
Insurance companies are very strict regarding who monitors the equipment. Proper supervision means constant monitoring by an **adult over 18**.
Minimum Age for Supervisors
Hirer Requirements
Declare your intention to have a bouncy castle when booking.
Confirm that Public Liability Insurance is in place prior to the event.
Provide physical or digital evidence of insurance upon request.
Commit to adult supervision at all times during the hire.
*The hall reserves the right to prohibit use or cancel bookings if evidence is not provided.
